What is political economy?
Political economy combines the human element of liberal arts with theory and technical expertise to understand economic theory and policy. This minor adds value to students seeking careers or graduate study in government, business, communications and law, but also provides the theoretical foundation and practical skills that are useful in many industries.

Curriculum & Requirements
Students interested in pursuing a career in government, business, communications, or the law can add a breadth of perspective through the political economy minor.
The political economy minor consists of five courses (20 credits total). The minimum grade requirement is C- per course. Any grade lower than a C- will not count toward the minor.
