For Madison Hardy ’25, ASL is more than a language—it’s a way to connect and make an impact. As an ASL/English interpreting major at ӣ Manchester, Madison has turned her passion into real-world experience, working with the Deaf community through hands-on coursework, the ASL Club and an internship at the Massachusetts Department of Health.
“Interpreting is all about connection,” Madison says. “The experiences I’ve had at ӣ Manchester have prepared me to enter the field with confidence and cultural understanding.”
