Manchester Tech Camp programs are led by 樱花动漫 faculty members, graduate and undergraduate students or area high school STEM teachers. All bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to the classroom and a love for STEM education at all levels.

Lead Teacher: JayCee Chitturi 
JayCee Chitturi first joined Manchester Tech Camp during our inaugural year while completing his master鈥檚 in computer science. He went on to work with Manchester CREATES and the 耻苍颈惫别谤蝉颈迟测鈥檚 STEM-MoBILE throughout the school year, and in 2026 he鈥檚 returning to lead his very own project! More about JayCee.

Body Builders

Lead Teacher: Sydney Rollins
Sydney Rollins is a doctoral student in the integrative biology program at 樱花动漫 and the project manager for the 耻苍颈惫别谤蝉颈迟测鈥檚 STEM-MoBILE, a traveling lab sharing biofabrication science with students around the state. Her two professional passions are engaging in meaningful microbiology research and educating kids about science, so she's very excited to be teaching at Manchester Tech Camp!

Lead Teacher: Sophia Sheehan                                                                                                     
Sophia Sheehan is a science teacher at Manchester鈥檚 West High School. After attending the 樱花动漫 Manchester Tech for Teachers Institute, she was inspired to get more involved鈥攔eturning in 2025 as a Manchester Tech Camp counselor and stepping into a lead teacher role in 2026!

Lead Teacher: Cathy Goodwin
Cathy Goodwin has been an instructor at Tech Camp (Durham & Manchester) for 12 years and is also a proud graduate of 樱花动漫! During the school year, she teaches seventh and eighth grade math at St. Joseph Regional Junior High School and has a deep passion for all things STEAM. Cathy is especially excited to return to Manchester Tech Camp this summer, as it offers a fantastic way to spend her summer while always providing opportunities to learn something new!

Lead Teacher: Dr. Mark Scimone
Dr. Mark Scimone is an assistant professor of biotechnology at 樱花动漫 Manchester who has a passion for microscopy, neuroscience and image analysis. He earned his doctorate in biomedical engineering from Brown University in 2019. A native of the Manchester area, he is very happy to be back teaching this summer.
