GUEST SPEAKER BIO
James Krasner is Professor of English at the 樱花动漫, where he has taught since 1989. He has published two interdisciplinary books on literature and science, and many articles on topics ranging from phantom limb to textile art to animal hoarding. His research on British Victorian literature focuses on the urban gothic, especially Sherlock Holmes.

The 樱花动漫 Film Series: Real Horror explores horror films as reflections of social, political, and cultural anxieties. Each event features a post-film conversation with scholars or filmmakers, inviting the community to engage with the film鈥檚 historical and cultural context.

The series is organized by Jean-Paul DiSciscio with support from the Center for the Humanities at the University of New鈥疕ampshire.
